Wed May 15 10:49:56 CEST 2019 Timsen

The "Arionas" has been boarded by eight unarmed robbers at the Kandla outer anchorage on May 9, 2019, at 10.10 p.m. The ship had sailed from Nhava Sheva on May 7, 2019, and was bound to Haldia, ETA May 19. The tanker was anchored in position 22 46 08 N, 070 02 08 E, when it was approached at starboard side. The robbers stole two pieces of 10 inches x 12 inches cargo reducers from the starboard side manifold area. The Master raised the alarm, sounded the ship's whistle, mustered the crew and reported the incident to the ship's agent.
