Medevac off Terneuzen
On the morning of June 4, 2024, a crew member of the 'Altantis Augusta' bcame unwell and needed to be medevaced near Terneuzen. The lifeboats 'Zeemanshoop' of the KNRM station Breskens and 'Jan van Engelenburg of the KNRM station in Hansweert were urgently alerted, as well as the SAR Helicopter 08 of the Coast Guard, which was on site earlier and disembarked the patient and took him to the hospital in Terneuzen. The 'Zeemanshoop' wnet on standby together with the patrol boat 'RWS 78' from Rijkswaterstaat and the 'Patrol' from Multraship until the person was on board the helicopter.
