Baltic Breeze enroute to breakers in Aliaga

On Jan 10 at 6.10 p.m. the tug "Bremen Fighter" (IMO: 9321287), after the weather calmed down, finally left Cuxhaven with the "Baltic Breeze" on tow, bound to breakers in Aliaga, with an ETA as of Feb 3, 11 a.m. The tugs "Blexen" and "Wulf 9" assisted during the departure from port. Workers of DFDS had prepared the ship since the morning hours for the towage. Vehicles carrier to be broken up in Aliaga

The "Baltic Breeze" was found to be beyond repair and was sold to breakers in Aliaga. The tug "Bremen Fighter" (IMO: 9321287) sailed from Bremerhaven on Dec 29 and arrived in Cuxhaven on Dec 30 in order to pull the vehicles carrier to the Turkey.
