Engine trouble in Dover Strait

On July 13, 2020, at 9.45 a.m. the 'Bochem Chennai', enroute from Rotterdam to Brixham with 23 crew members and 17178 tons cargo on board, suffered engine trouble in the southwest bound lane of the Dover TSS. The crew carried out repairs, and the ship was underway again at 11 a.m.

Tanker Arrested in Singapore

A 19,800 dwt chemical tanker was arrested in Singapore last week, according to records from the Supreme Court of Singapore. The 2012-built Bochem Chennai was arrested at 00.25 am local time on April 12, 2016 following action from local law firm Haridass Ho & Partners. As of today, records indicate the vessel has since been released.
