Russian invaders threatened ship in Ukrainian waters

Russian invaders threatened to use weapons against the 'Britta K' which transited Ukraine's territorial waters near Zmiinyi (Snake) Island en route from Istanbul to Sulina on May 21, 2022. She received a signal from the Russians demanding that it leave the territorial waters of Russia, otherwise, weapons will be used. According to the Ukrainian Navy, this confirms Russia's attempts to "illegally appropriate Ukrainian territory, even without the so-called 'pseudo-referendums.'

Repair of engine damage in Tuzla completed

The "Britta K", which had engine breakdown in Ajaccio Bay on Sep 2 and was towed by the tug "Iron Salvor" to Tuzla on Oct 11 for repairs, left the port on Dec 30 after repairs at 9 a.m. and moored on the port's anchorage in pos. 40° 50.20' N 029° 14.89' E at 11.50 a.m. where it remained stationary on Jan 1, 2019. The ship headed to Capu Midia as first port of call after the yard stay where it arrived on Jan 6 and sailed to Beirut the same day, ETA Jan 11.

On Oct 4 the tug "Iron Salvor" started to tow the "Britta K" to Tuzla, ETA 11 Oct 2018.
