Pump defect off Beachy Head

On Nov 3, 2020 at 8.25 a.m. the 'BW Kestrel', being en route from Amsterdam to Lagos with 21 crew members on board, suffered a defect with the fuel pump on the main engine, about 13,6 miles from the Beachy Head Lighthouse in position 50 32 21 N, 000 17 20 E, at 0824 hrs, UTC, today. The vessel was adrift while the defect was rectified until 08.35 a.m. before it continued its voyage to Lagos with an ETA as of Nov 17.
