Tanker adrift off Ceuta

The "Gizemdeniz Sultan" was disabled and adrift short after leaving the port of Ceuta on July 26, 2017, at 1 p.m. Salvamento Miritímo was called to assist and deployed the offshore tug "Luz de Mar" (IMO: 9320104) from Algeciras, which took the casualty in tow and pulled it back to the North anchorage of Ceuta. She left again on July 29 at 9 p.m. The ship was next bound to Barcelona, ETA Aug 1 at noon.
