Crew waiting for wages and running short of supplies

Trade unions contacted the Murmansk shipping company Sheveleva Svetlana Viktorovna. According to the crew of the "Petr Velikiy", theor contracts expired on June 12, 2018, and their wages have not been paid in May too. It was promised by the company to pay the salary for June after July 14. The sailors had complained that the ship had problems with the provisions and were worried that the ship could be sold and the salaries of the sailors could not be paid. The company explained that in fact there was a critical situation, but because of the holidays in China on June 18 grocery deliveries were expected on June 19. The vessel is actually being repaired in Shanghai. Between June 18-20, it was planned to issue a Chinese visa for a crew replacement to take place on June 22.
