Steel replacement and tightness tests completed
Aboard the 'Elsa 1', the steel replacement has been completed and tightness tests to steel replaced had a satisfactorily result. The vessel class status has been suspended by classification society until completion of the entire repairs together with verification tests. The repairs were continued, while the vessel remained stationary in the shipyard at Tuzla as of Sep 20.

A new set of spare parts was provided for the 'Azure Coast' by the owner from an authorised manufacturer. Main shaft, propeller, and rudder maintenance have been commenced by the technicians. The electric switchboard, pertinent connection permanent repairs and maintenance were progressing. Upon completion of the steel replacement works, tightness tests will be carried out at the steel-replaced locations. Repairs were contnued, while the vessel remained stationary in the shipyard at Tuzla on April 20.
Repairs in Tuzla underway
The 'Elsa 1' arrived at Tuzla roads under towage of a tug on Feb 23, and got berthing permission at a shipyard upon completion of formalities on same afternoon. A detailed damage survey was carried out by the class surveyor together with owner's superintendent. Subsequently, permanent repairs have been commenced. Steel thickness measurement were commenced bya survey company. Repairs and steel replacement were still being carried out in shipyard at Tuzla as of March 5.
