Trawler recovered semi-rigid

Fri Sep 02 11:52:04 CEST 2022 Timsen

While he was fishing on Aug 31, 2022, the skipper of the 'Borée-Al' was approached by the CROSS Jobourg and then diverted from his route in order to recover an 8.50 m gray semi-rigid, which was adrift about about 15 miles northwest of Guernsey. Once in the area, and after noting that there was no one on board, the crew of the 'Borée-Al' hoisted the inflatable, registered in Guernsey, onto the deck and then headed for Cherbourg. The semi-rigid, perfectly inflated, was completely devoid of equipment and fittings. The identification, carried out with a yellow bomb, could have been carried out by the British authorities within the framework of its arrest and the care of refugees who were on board. In mid-August, an empty semi-rigid of this type was found stranded on Lestre beach, east of Saint-Vaast la Hougue. The same type of inscription was present on this semi-rigid almost identical to that recovered by the crew of the 'Borée-Al'.
