Collision off Cabo Corrubedo

Tue Mar 07 10:39:00 CET 2017 Timsen

The Spanish fishing vessel "Delfín" from Santa Uxia de Riveira was in collision with the "Nathalie Chantal II - BA 922635", 131 gt (IMO-No.: 9093191), on March 5, 2017, at 1 a.m. close to Cabo Corrubedo. The "Delfín" slammed into the port side of the larger ship, which was about to return to Gran Sol, at the height of Os Cobos. No injuries have been reported, but the fishing vessel suffered a crushed bow. However, it was able to enter the homeport.
