Wed May 11 21:35:42 CEST 2022 Timsen

On May 11, 2022, the 'Gas Grouper', en route from Jorf Lasfar, requested the medical evacuation of a crew member with respiratory problems. The CCS Las Palmas of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the SAr helicopter Helimer 201, which, refueling in Arrecife, hoisted the patient and transported him to Lanzarote from a position 118 miles away.

Ship stopped after gas cloud

Sun Aug 24 18:56:27 CEST 2014 Timsen

On Aug 24, 2014, at 4.30 p.m. the "Gas Grouper" timewise was barred from leaving the port of Antwerp because there was mentioning of a gas cloud in port which in fact had nothing to do with the outbound ship itself. However, due to the safety routines, the crew of the ship and assisting workers at quay 751 of BASF were brought to safety. Already around 5 p.m.the "Gas Grouper" could resume the voyage to Yuzhny and proceeded towards the Zandvliet lock.
