Medevac off Bermudas

Wed Dec 30 16:25:12 CET 2015 Timsen

At about 12.20 p.m. on Dec 24, 2015, the "Gdynia" contacted the Bermudas Rescue Co-ordination Centre to say a crew member had suffered a possible broken leg. The ship, which had been on route from Dunkirk to Tuxpan headed towards the Bermudas, meeting the pilot boat "St David" off the East End at about 8 p.m. to transfer the injured crewman. The crew member was taken to waiting ambulances at Ordnance Island, and then moved to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for Treatment.
