Collision off Japan
The container m/v 'SITC Inchon' (IMO: 93362906) was in collision with the 'Houtoku Maru' in position 34 15 0 N, 136 59 0 E on Sep 30, 2022, at around 1.30 a.m. off the Japanese coast. The 'Houtoku Maru', which was coming from Mizushima, suffered a crack at the lower port stern and moored off Nagoya on Oct 1 at 5.30 a.m. The 'SITC Inchon' sustained scratches all over the bow and berthed in Nagoya on Oct 1. No spills nor injuries were reported.
