Three cases of roibbery in Singapore Strait

The Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP) has reported three incidents of armed robbery against ships occurred in the eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme (TSS) in the Singapore Strait over the weekend of Nov 7/8, 2020. The incidents happened within the space of just six hours and in close proximity to each other. In all three incidents, there was no confrontation between the perpetrators and the crew. Ship equipment and a lifebuoy were stolen in two of the incidents and nothing was stolen in the other incident. The ships in the incidents were the 'Zeno', 'Lefkada' and 'Atlantic Diana'.
