Cargo of Maersk Enshi transshipped onto Maersk Guthorm after collision

The cargo from the "Maersk Enshi" will be taken up by the "Maersk Guthorm" after a collision with a Chinese fishing occurred south of Shanghai, outside Taizhou. The accident happened in position 28 22N 122 17E, south of Shanghai. The fishing vessel sank, from the 10 fishermen on board four were rescued, six went missing. The "Maersk Enshi" proceeded to the Yu Huan Anchorage, south of Taizhou, and was moored in the afternoon of Oct 12. The incident was still under investigation. The vessel was sailing on the transpacific portion of the 2M Alliance TP2 service. In its place, the "Maersk Guthorm" will ship cargo from Ningbo, Shanghai and Yokohama to Long Beach and Oakland. Maersk was working on the contingency for the cargo on board the "Maersk Enshi" and will communicate updates as irt receives them. The port rotation for the TP2 is Tanjung Pelepas, Cai Mep (near Ho Chi Minh), Shekou Shenzhen (Chiwan), Yantian Shenzhen, Shanghai, Long Beach, Oakland CA, Vostochniy Russia, Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou Shenzhen (Chiwan), Singapore, Port Said Egypt, Haifa, Koper, Trieste, Rijeka Croatia, Gioia Tauro, Port Said Egypt, King Abdullah City, Salalah and Tanjung Pelepas.
