Crew threatens to auction the vessel
Crew of the tanker Maria del Carmen 2 threatens to auction the vessel if the present owner won’t pay wage debts and provide all necessary supplies, reported Georgian media on Nov 22 2012. Crew is 16, consisting of 12 Georgian and 4 Nigerian nationalities. Tanker arrived to Balboa anchorage, Panama, and stays on anchor, since Aug 28, before Balboa tanker stayed for at least 8 months in Guayaquil, Equador.
