Faulty sensor off Spurn Point
The 'Conmar Gulf', while enroute from Rotterdam to Teesport, suffered an issue with its electrical sensor 24 miles from Spurn Point in position 53 54 36 N, 000 29 56 E on Feb 26, 2021, at 6.50 a.m. it was caused by a faulty sensor which has been replaced by the crew. The vessel resumed the voyage on 7.15 a.m. and arrived in the port at 7 p.m.
Engine failure off Treport
The 'Conmar Gulf' suffered an engine failure on Sep 16, 2020, about 28 miles north of Le Treport, The crew carried out repairs, and no assistance was requested. The vessel then resumed its voyage from La Rochelle to Rotterdam and moored on the RTM anchorage on Sep 17 at 11 a.m.
Allision in Brunsbüttel
Enroute from Kemi to Hamburg the "Conmar Gulf" allided with a platform with a signal light marking the position of the demolished former jetty 3 at the locks of the Kiel Canal in Brunsbüttel at the end of the transit of the waterway on Nov 6, 2018, at 9.40 a.m. The whole platform fell into the water. A buoy was laid out to warn passing ship traffic. The accident happened in dense fog. The ship resumed its voyage at 11 a.m. and berthed in Hamburg at 11 p.m.
