Engine failure off Nara

The 'My Zeynep' suffered an engine failure off the coast of Nara in the Dardanelles on Aug 21, 2025. The ship was en route from Alexandria to Constanta. The Çanakkale Ship Traffic Services Center deployed the tugs 'Kurtarma 19' (IMO: 9995129) and 'Türkeli' (IMO: 9816256) to assist. The ship was taken in tow and safely moored at the Şevketiye Anchorage n pos. 40° 25' N 026° 50' E. It weighed anchor on Aug 23 and headed towards the shipyard area in Tuzla, where it arrived in pos. 40° 51' N 029° 15' E on the morning of Aug 25 and since has berthed in port, where it remained stationary as of Sep 5. Grounding off off Vadrai Beach

The 'Sea Siddhee' ran aground due to a technical snag, while en route from Mumbai to Gujarat’s Hazira Port in Gujarat in the Arabian Sea near the Palghar district in Maharashtra off Vadrai Beach on July 23, 2023, with 13 crew members on board. The Coast Guard and Palghar district administration were monitoring the current situation.
