The High Court of Balochistan has fixed Dec 9, as the date to hear the case against the owner of the 'Nazlican', which was remaining at the Gadani Ship Breaking Yard in Balochistan for scrapping. A case has been filed by A&B Petrol, a Turkish company, for alleged supply of bunker fuels. The end buyer's/ship breakers have challenged the arrest orders on the reason that they have purchased the vessel free from all liens, encumbrances and charges, and bunker claims were not recognized as a maritime lien under Pakistan law.

The High Court of Balochistan, Pakistan has issued an order, dated November 16 under admiralty suit No. 2 of 2020, for the arrest of the 'Nazlican' at the Gadani Ship Breaking Yard in Balochistan. The vessel arrived for scrapping on Oct 3, 2020. The case was in the preliminary stage, and parties were exchanging documents as per court order for further proceedings.
