Tanker assisted distressed yacht crew
After the German sailing yacht ‘Milu‘ reported water ingress on Sep 17, 2020, 132 miles northwest of Ortegal, the ‘Nord Superior‘, coming from Ijmuiden, responded on the emergency call and supported the radio communication with the crew of three. Salvamento Marítimo deployed the Helimer 402 helicopter and the Sasemar 102 aircraft to the position. The helicopter hoisted the sailors from their boat and flew them to A Coruña.
