Notmann assisted distressed boat
On Apr 10, 2016, the "Notmann" was among the ships to assist a 23-ft-Tobias boat which was ablaze in Austevoll in Hordaland at 11 a.m. The fire broke out in the engine compartment south of Storekalsøy. The skipper was saved by a nearby private boat. The ambulance Boat "Rygavakt" which was equipped with fire extinguishers, was able to put out to the fire with foam shortly before noon. Three people from the fire department were aboard ambulance boat. The " Notmann", after she came to assist, undertook an attempt to lift the boat up onto the deck. But the severely damaged boar sank.
