Medevac off Barcelona

The medical evacuation of a crew member was requested from the 'Ocean Euphrosibe' on thr night of Sep 6, 2026. The SAR boat 'Salvamar Mintaka', with bomberscat personnel on board, took the patient off and transported him to the port of Barcelona last night, from where he was taken to the Hospital del Mar. Carbon monxoide leakage caused several injured

Two people sustained serious injuries following a carbon monoxide leak aboard the 'Ocean Euphrosine' at the Port of Barcelona. One person was in critical condition, and a second has sustained serious injuries after the gas leaked from an unknown source on the early morning of Sep 5, 2026, while workers were unloading vegetable oils at the port's terminal for flammable goods. Four others, suffering from less severe injuries, were taken to Moisès Broggi Hospital in Sant Joan Despí. Another four people with minor symptoms were treated and discharged at the scene, while nine others remained unaffected. The Civil Guard and the Maritime Authority have launched an investigation into the poisoning incident.

Pilot fell into the water and was rescued

On the night of March 4, 2025, the pilot Captain Serdinç Koç, who was on duty to provide pilotage services to the 'Ocean Euphrosyne' off the coast of Gelibolu, accidentally fell into the sea in the Dardanelles Strait, With the rapid and effective intervention of the boat crew at the time of the incident, the captain was rescued in a short time and transferred to the hospital.
