Pacific Trader boarded by five robbers
Five robbers boarded the 'Pacific Trader' while she was proceeding on the Magdalena River Passage, Colombia, in position 11 01 35N, 074 47 23W, on Feb 13, 2021, around 09.35 a.m. The Master raised the alarm, the crew members mustered inside the accommodation block, and the pilot notified the port authorities. Seeing the alerted crew members, the robbers escaped with stolen ship's properties. The vessel was instructed to anchor to allow the Coastguard to board and investigate. On Feb 14 the ship berthed in Cartagena.
