Arrest in Chittagong

The 'PNT Mighty' was arrested at the outer anchorage of Chittagong port on May 26, 2021, as per orders of the local High Court from May 25 in a litigation case. The vessel had arrived from Ho Chi Minh port on May 26 to offload imported cargo. On May 28 it was shifted to Berth No.J/5 from the outer anchorage of Chittagong to offload cargo.

Grounding in Singapore Strait

The "Thai Binh 688 (PNT Mighty)" ran aground in the Singapore Strait south of Jurong Island on the Buffalo Rock Light Beacon shortly after leaving Singapore, bound for Koh Si Chang, on Aug 30, 2019, at 5 p.m. The ship got stuck on the small lighted islet just outside the fairway and remained stationary in pos. 01° 9.41' N 103° 48.77' E on Sep 4.
