Tanker boarded by robbers in Chattogram
The 'FSL Osaka' was boarded by unnoticed robbers at Chattogram Port, Bangladesh in position 22 16 16.2N, 091 48 38.4E, on May 24, 2020, at 4 p.m. The duty crew on routine rounds noticed a part of a mooring rope missing from the winch. The alarm was raised, the crew was mustered, and a search of the vessel was conducted. Following the search, it was reported that ship's stores had been stolen by the robbers. The incident was reported to the port security officer. -- Correspondent
