Detention in Klaipeda

On May 6, 2025, the 'Rix Sail' was detained in Klaipeda with 11 deficiencies, three of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Structural conditions - Bulkheads - cracking Damaged 2) Emergency systems - Fire drills Lack of knowledge 3) Pollution Prevention - Retention of oil onboard Not as required The vessel was released again on May 25 and left the port en route to Gdynia, where it berthed at the Bałtycka Baza Masowa on May 26. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063576908591

Cargo ship found overloaded

The "Brigga" which had entered the port of Brake coming from Ijmuiden on Dec 10, 2014, was found to be overloaded just before leaving port bound to Hartlepool. During a control of the Police the officers remarked that the freeboard mark was submerged. The ship was detained until 47 tons of the cargo of steel were unloaded. It finally left port on Dec 12 at noon and reached Hartlepool on Dec 15 at 10 a.m.
