Shendong Terminal closed after barge listed
The “Run Fa Chang Qing” suffered a container loss at the Shengdong International Container Terminal (SICT) in Yangshan Port in the morning of Nov 12, 2014. The ship started to list to the quay, and several containers started to shift. 36 containers onboard the vessel fell over board and partially onto the wharf, leading to SICT suspending operations at the terminal to start salvaging the containers. An investigation of the incident was underway.
