Medevac with COVID 19 symptoms off Cagliari

A Filipino crew member of the 'SBI Reggae' who was suffering high fever and muscle pain was disembarked from the ship near the coasts of Cagliari on May 18, 2020. The sip was enroute from Santos to Iskenderun when the man was plagued by symptoms similar to the new coronavirus, with a difficult clinical picture. Once the maritime health service has been informed, the man was disembarked on a launch of the cargo ship and taken to Cagliari, from where he was transferred to the Santissima di Trinità where he will undergo all the analyzes provided for in cases of suspected Covid-19. After the return of the launch the freighter was due to resume the voyage towards Turkey.
