TOS delivers Sepehr Payam

Sun Jul 06 11:01:34 CEST 2014 arnekiel

In June 2014, the coaster Sepehr Payam arrived safely at the port of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Sepehr Payam has been purchased by a client in Dubai for container line activities in the Dubai area. What started as a request for delivery crew has extended to a ship delivery under full TOS management and with a TOS crew. The voyage started at our home port Rotterdam Waalhaven on the 13th of May. After the necessary preparation: (temporary) flag-changing of the vessel, temporary certification, MLC audit, ISM/ISPS certification and the normal maintenance check-up the vessel left without publicity because of the navigational route (piracy threat). “Over the last few years the piracy threat has influenced the way we prepare and execute ship deliveries in high risk area’s extensively. Because of our tailor-made piracy plan for the vessel and the voyage we were able to extend our service for this project from crewing only to a ship delivery contract.” says Ronald van der Kolk, Division Manager Ship Management at TOS. TOS has become a world known specialist in this line of work: delivering all type of ships worldwide. Maritime services including crewing solutions for shipping, offshore, inland shipping and dredging is the core business of TOS. Source: TOS
