Wed Jul 01 17:32:49 CEST 2020 Timsen

The shipping company 'CTG Cobalt' had a difference of opinion with the Port State Control in the port of Teluk Bayur, Indonesia over an alleged defect of the sewage treatment plant on the tanker, leading to a brief detention of the vessel. It was released on June 25,2020, with no deficiency remaining. There was no delay in the ship's operation and schedule. The alleged deficiency at no time posed a risk to the crew, the vessel or the environment. Meanwhile, an appeal process against the recorded detention has been initiated, which was being supported by Flag Administration.
