Engine failure enroute to breakers
On Apr 12, 2013, the tanker "Sundance" on its last voyage to Gadani suffered an engine blackout just as she cleared the entrance channel of Durban in the late morning. Towed into Durban
The products tanker Sundance has been towed into Durban for repairs on Mar 25, reported Ports and Ships SAR. Vessel arrived on tow of salvage tug Smit Amandla (IMO 7385215). Details of the accident unknown. Vessel reported to be sold to Gadani breakers.
