Perpetrators stole scrap metal from barge

The barge 'Sung Fatt 36', 1826 gt, while being towed by the 'Sung Fatt 31', was boarded by 14 perpetrators while transiting the westbound Lane of the Singapore Strait in pos. 01 12 41 N, 103 32 20 E, on Nov 21, 2022, at 02.05 a.m. The Master reported that all the crew members were safe and that an unknown amount of scrap metal was stolen. He did not require assistance and continued the voyage to Penang with an ETA as of Nov 25.

The barge 'Sung Fatt 36', 1826 gt, which was being towed by the 'Sung Fatt 31', was boarded by at least 11 perpetrators in position 001 12 41 N, 103 32 37 E, while transiting the westbound lane of the Singapore Strait on Sep 7, 2022, at 3.25 p.m. UTC. The tug master reported that the perpetrators stole scrap metal from the barge. The crew was safe and accounted for. The vessels did not require any assistance and continued their voyage to Penang with an ETA as of Sep 12.

Pepetrators robbed metal from towed barge

The crew of the "Sung Fatt 31", while towing a barge, observed perpetrators boarding the barge in the westbound lane of the Singapore Strait on July 16, 2019, at 4.30 a.m. They stole scrap metal and escaped. The tug was nearing Port Dickson Anchorage, en route to Penang, Malaysia, ETA July 20.
