Dock ship with five luxury yachts distressed in Palma
The 'Super Servant 4' with five luxury yachts on her deck developed heavy starboard list at Palma, Majorca, on June 8, 2020. The ship literally hang on mooring lines, which saved it from capsizing. A faulty ballasting system is thought to be the cause of the trouble. The situation was brought under control and the ship could be stabilized. On Istambul road on September 16 2010 afternoon Turkish general cargo Meziyet Ana collided with Dutch semi-sub yacht transporter Super Servant 4, no spill or water ingress reported. Both vessel anchored for survey, Dutch fined on the spot, just in case, we may guess. Meziyet Ana IMO 8418265 dwt 8890, built 1985, flag Malta, manager Kalkavan Transport Denizcilik. Super Servant 4 - crew 22 Ukranian.
