Allision with arrester wire

The "Thunder Bay" allided with an arrester wire in the St. Lawrence Seaway's Lock No. 3 in Beauharnois Lock, Quebec, on Aug 11, 2019, at 1.05 p.m. The vessel did not sustain any damages, but the arrester wire was damaged. The ship continued its voyage on Aug 12 at 3.45 p.m. bound to Sydney, Australia, with an ETA as of Aug 15, 2 p.m.

Propeller seals were leaking

The "Thunder Bay" reported that the vessel's controllable pitch propeller blades seals were leaking hydraulic oil off Thessalon, Ontario, in position 46 01.26N, 083 30.96W, on March 31, 2018, at 4 p.m. The vessel proceeded to an anchorage to have repairs carried out. It arrived at Superior on Apr 1 and sailed the same day.
