Robbers stole ship's spares

The 'True Champion' was boarded by robbers in pos. 01 03 18.6N, 103 36 21E, in the Malacca Strait on Oct 6, 2021, at 4 p.m. The robbers stole ship's spares and escaped unnoticed. The theft was noticed by the duty crew during the next routine rounds, and the incident was reported to the Singapore Police Coast Guard.

Collision off Shanghai

Tue Jan 10 12:33:25 CET 2017 Timsen

The bulkcarrier "Stella Cherise" was in collision with the "Spartacus" in the East China Sea near Shanghai in the morning of Jan 10, 2017. The "Spartacus" suffered only minor damage and anchored near Shanghai in the Yangtze River estauary. The "Stella Cherise"’s hull was damaged on five meters length at starboard side above and underneath the waterline, and she was suffering water ingress in cargo hold no 5. and was adrift timewise. The Shanghai Maritime Salvage Bureau and SIPG’s tug unit Fuxing Shipping have sent ships for salvage works, which were still ongoing. A.o. the "Hujijiu 18", "Dong Hai Jiu 102", "Hai Gang 28" and "Ha Gang 21" were dispatched to Shanghai Port. The "Stella Cherise", which was en route from Zhang Jiagang to Port Hedland and was unloaded, has currently been stabilized and the crew was evacuated.
