Two injured crew members medevaced
On Feb 15, 2026, the 'Tulip', enroute from Cartagena to Beirut with an ETA as of Feb 22, requested the medical evacuation of two injured crew members. A pilot boat came alongside the vessel and took both crew members aboard. They were transferred to the SAR boat 'Salvamar Draco' rescue boat, which headed at full speed to the port of Cartagena, where an ambulance was waiting for transport to the hospital. The operation was coordinated by the CCS of Salvamento Marítimo in Cartagena.
