Fire on ferry in Palermo

In the morning of Sep 5, 2018, a fire broke out aboard the "Vesta" at the shipyard of Palermo. The ferry was moored at the Foranea dike for maintenance work. The fire broke out in the engine room in a batteries room. Five fire brigades from the provincial command arrived on scene and managed to extinguish the fire before it could spread further. The ferry left the port again on Nov 1 at 9.30 a.m., bound for Trapani.
