Engine failure in Gulf of St. Lawrence
The "William Oldendorff" suffered an engine failure in position lat 048 42 25.3N, long 061 55 35.8W, and had to stop in the Gulf of St. Lawrence off Anticosti Island on Feb 4, 2019, at 5 a.m. The crew carried out the repairs while the vessel was drifting and then resumed its voyage from Mananah to Sept Isles where it arrived on Feb 5.
Engine failure at Roberts Bank
On Feb 23, 2018, at 5.35 a.m. the "William Oldendorff", being under conduct of a pilot, suffered an engine failure while docking at Roberts Bank, British Columbia, in position 49 00 24.2N, 123 09 40.7W. The vessel docked with the assistance of tugs, and left port again son Feb 26 at 12.53 p.m. bound for the Magellan Strait.Upload News
