Maxime struck twice

Fri Mar 20 10:32:48 CET 2015 Timsen

On Mar 18, 2015, at 1.30 p.m. the "Maxime", while trying to enter Seaham’s South Dock, was caught by the current and struck the north side of the wall with its starboard side, before the port side hit the other gate. The ship struck one side of the gate first with the bow and attempted to straighten up, backed up and ran into the wall and with that manoeuvre struck the gate again.The ship’s crew were able to put it into reverse and straighten up without assistance.
