One missing after collision

On May 29, 2021, at 9.45 p.m. the cargo m/v 'Chuang Xin 8', enroute from Dachu Shan Island to Nanojung with an ETA as of May 31, and the 'Yi Gang Mao 20', enroute from Nantong, were in collision Southeast of Shanghai near the Banyang Jiao Reef. The 'Chunang Xin 8' was heavily damaged and sank as a consequence. Of its 20 crew members, 19 were rescued on May 30 at 6 a.m. One man was missing. The 'Yi Gang Mao 20' berthed in Maji Shan Port on May 30 around 7 a.m.
