S’HAIL Shipping & Maritime Services – a private Qatari shareholding company – received the first cargo vessel for the transport of Gabbro, cement and bulk materials. “S’HAIL Al Ruwais is the first ship received by the company in March 2017 which was built in Anomichi, Japan and can carry 52,817 tonnes to be eligible for the transfer of Gabbro, Cement and Bulk Materials,” said Mohammed Khalifa Al Sada, Chairman and Managing Director of Suhail Marine Services. MV Prabhu Daya left Chennai Port late on Thursday evening

M.V. Prabhu Daya, which was involved in a collision with a fishing vessel off Kerala on March 1, left the Chennai Port late on Thursday evening after the Madras High Court lifted the arrest order imposed on it. Madras High Court permits Prabhu Daya to sail

A month after it ordered arrest of a Singapore-bound vessel, the Madras High Court has permitted M V Prabhu Daya, suspected to have collided with a fishing trawler off the Kerala coast last month killing five fishermen, to sail. When the claim suit and applications filed by the trawler owner and three others came up for hearing, Justice R Subbiah recorded a claim settlement of Rs 1.04 crore reached between the ship owner, Puni Gopal Shipping Private Ltd of Singapore and the four, lifted the arrest and gave the go-ahead for the ship to leave the Chennai port.
