Wisdom Marine closes in on 100 ships

Wed Feb 04 07:13:35 CET 2015 arnekiel

Taipei: Taiwan’s bulker owner Wisdom Marine has announced that the company has added one more bulk carrier, and expects to have a fleet of 100 vessels by the first quarter of this year. The newest bulk carrier was delivered to the company’s subsidiary Amis Elegance S.A. on 27 January. The 55,000dwt MV Amis Elegance, an eco-ship built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, has been delivered to the vessel’s European time charterers to begin operation. Founded in 1999 and dual-listed in Taipei and London, Wisdom Marine now has a fleet of 97 bulk carriers. [SinoShipNews 28/01/15]
