Tug sunk by Daphne replaced
The owner of the tug 'Salilah' has replaced the ship by purchasing a new one from a salvage contractor and paid the difference in price. SHe had sunk during the berthing manoever of the 'Daphne' at Umm Qasr port during a sudden storm in the night of May, 5, 2020. The court had decided to hold the responsibility on the two parties concerned, in the following percentage: The 'Daphne' was at 40%, and the 'Salihiah' was at 60%.
