Engine issue off Lowestoft

The 'Hafnia Sunda', while enroute from Primorsk to Donges with 21 crew members on board, suffered a fuel related issue in the main engine in position 52 28 21N, 025 52 09E, about 42 miles East of Lowestoft on May 9, 2021. The crew was able to rectify the damage, and the ship resumed its voyage with an ETA as of May 11.

Allision in Brunsbüttel

On Feb 25, 2020, at 12.03 a.m. the 'Hafnia Sunda' allided with the light beacon of the former jetty 3 at the Brunsbüttel locks of the Kiel Canal when approaching the waterway from the North West Anchorage. The beacon was sunk, and the ship had to abort its innitial attempt. Once it had entered the lock at 1.10 a.m., the accident was investigated by the water police Brunsbüttel. The ship started its eastbound transit of the Kiel Canal at 2.30 a.m. with an ETA in Primorsk as of Feb 28.
