Robbers stole engine parts

The 'Ioanna L' was boarded by four robbers on April 16, 2021, around 9 p.m. in position 01 16 14N, 104 14 30E, in the Singapore Strait. They assaulted and injured the fourth engineer, stole engine spares, and escaped. The alarm was raised, a PA announcement was made, and the crew was mustered. A search of the vessel was conducted, but no robbers were found on board. The incident was reported to the Singapore authorities.
