On 2 March 2018 M/V "IRKUTSK" with IMO number 7636767 (flag Samoa) was detained in Port of Azov (Russia). The refusal of access to Paris MoU ports has been cancelled on 28 June 2018, Paris MoU said in its press release.

Grounding on the Don

The "Irkutsk" ran aground on June 26, 2018, at 12.30 p.m. on the river Don downstream of Azov port, to which she was heading from the Kerch Strait's outer Anchorage. On June 27 the ship was moored in position 47° 7.70' N 039° 22.89' E on the Don off Azov.

Vessel adrift in Istanbul Strait

On July 27, 2014 at 6:40 p.m. the "Magnum" suffered an engine breakdown while transiting the Istanbul Strait in South-North direction. The ship was adrift off Çengelköy . The tug "Kurtama 7" was dispatched at 7.15 p.m. and took the vessel, which had a crew of 13 and which was enroute from Tsigel to Izamail with a cargo of 1300 tons liquid waste ,in tow to Ahırkapı one hour later.
