Arrest in Singapore

The Singapore Supreme Court arrested the Jasmine' on Nov 14, 2020, at 09.20 a.m. The arresting solicitor was Oon & Bazul LLP. The vessel was moored at the Eastern Bunkering Anchorage 5316B. It was released on Nov 19 and headed to Jeddah with an ETA as of Dec 2.

Pirates stole mooring ropes

While the 'Jasmine' was moored at the Taboneo anchorage, awaiting cargo operations to commence, its crew discovered that the forecastle store door's locking arrangement had been tampered with and the padlock was broken, on April 12, 2020, at 5 a.m. Three mooring ropes with a length of 220 metres each had been stolen and 100 metres of another mooring rope had been cut-off and stolen. The Master reported the incident to the local authorities. The local port control, Navy and Police boarded the vessel for investigation.
