Disabled vessel towed to Patras

Wed Mar 27 10:59:25 CET 2019 Timsen

In the morning of March 25, 2019, the Port Authority of Patras was informed about a mechanical malfunction aboard the "NS Pride" three miles west of the Rio-Antirion bridge. The vessel was bound from Ancona to the port of Agios Nikolaos at Viotia. The ship was taken in tow by the tug "Proteas" (IMO: 8811273) and safely reached the port of Patras at 8.45 a.m. The Central Port Authority of Patras detained the ship until an inspection proved the seaworthyness. The "NS Pride" sailed again on May 14 at 5.15 p.m., bound to Elevsis where she arrived on May 15 and docked at the Aspropyrgos Terminal at 11.20 a.m.
