Engine failure off Vancouver

On March 19, 2018, at 6.10 a.m. the "Ocean Diamond" was disabled due to a total failure of its main engine, while approaching the First Narrows Bridge, English Bay, British Columbia, in position49 18 N 123 08 W. The vessel returned to Anchorage 14 off Vancouver for repairs with the assistance of two tugs and moored on March 20 at 11.24 a.m. She sailed at 5 p.m. on March 21 and resumed the voyage to Buenaventura, ETA Apr 4.
